Earning Points with Accor Live Limitless
Earning Points on Hotel Stays
Unfortunately, there is math involved in figuring out how many points you’ll earn on your next stay. It’s based not just on your status tier but also on what type of property/hotel brand you’re staying at. Accor has a calculator here, which you can use to get an estimate before booking.
Luckily, anything you charge to your room bill will qualify for points earning. Earning rates are as follows (per spent):
All Other Brands | At Ibis, Ibis Styles, and Mama Shelter | At Mantra, Peppers, Breakfree, Art Series, Adagio Original, and Long Stay Brands | At Adagio Access, JO&JOE, and Greet. | |
Classic | 25 | 12.5 | 10 | 5 |
Silver | 31 | 15 | 12.5 | 6.25 |
Gold | 37 | 18.5 | 15 | 7.5 |
Platinum | 44 | 22 | 17.5 | 8.75 |
Diamond | 50 | 25 | 20 | 10 |
Remember that you won’t earn points on stays you don’t book directly with Accor, and you don’t earn points on the taxes/services charges portion of your bill.
Let’s say you’re flying to Dubai with Emirates and want to stay at the Raffles The Palm hotel. The member rate for the weekend I selected costs $559.27 per night, but you’ll only earn points on $373.42 — the amount before taxes and fees.
As a Class member, you would earn 882 points and 882 status points each night on this rate. Silver members still earn 882 status points but earn 1094 rewards points. For Gold members, your rewards points go up to 1,306. Platinum and Diamond members can earn 1,553 rewards points per night on this rate.
Earning at Onefinestay
You can earn 1 point per spent at these luxury home stays. Accor owns Onefinestay now, but earning rates are much lower than at Accor Live Limitless program hotels.
Earning on Day Room Rates
You can book day rooms at many Accor properties. This can be great if you’ve got a long layover between flights, don’t want to stay in the airport, but you need to get some work done or take a nap. Day rates vary between “horrible” and “OK”, so compare these to what you would pay for booking a room for the night and asking for early check-in/late check-out.
Other Ways to Earn Accor Points
Coworking
Wojo is a European network of coworking spaces, and it’s owned by Accor. Earn 50 points per month on any Wojo subscription.
Earn Points by Taking Surveys
ClubOpinions and e-Rewards offer surveys where you can get Accor points for your participation. The earning rates are not great, to be clear. But, Accor points do expire 12 months after earning them. For us Americans, there are not a lot of Accor properties in the U.S., so it is a good option to prevent points expiration.
Accor Shopping Portal
Accor Live Limitless has a shopping portal. Clicking through the portal before making online purchases can give you extra points at stores like Apple, Sephora, Urban Outfitters, etc. Check out this post about how shopping portals work “Shopping Portal and Online Cashback Sites + Apps [GUIDE]”.
Capital One Transfer Partner
It is possible to transfer Capital One points to Accor If you’ve got these miles, you can transfer at a 2:1 ratio. That’s not ideal, though. If you’re just short of what you need for an award booking – then it can make sense. It might also make sense if you need to transfer 2,000 points to prevent points expiration. Do the math before transferring, since you can’t send your points back.
Cit Transfer Partner
It is also possible to transfer Citi ThankYou points to Accor. The rate is 2:1. So just like CapitalOne, this is not a great deal, but it can make sense in select situations listed above. But, I think it makes even less sense to transfer Citi points to Accor, as using them for Choice Hotel redemptions is a much better use since it is a 1:2 transfer rate.
Earn With Airline Partners
These transfers aren’t great. Your miles are probably more valuable left in your frequent flyer account, but if you’re in need of a few points in your Accor account or have miles stuck in a frequent flyer account you aren’t using, then transferring could make sense.
- Aegean Miles+Bonus – Convert 2,000 miles into 500 Accor points
- Azul TudoAzul – Convert 10,000 miles into 1,000 Accor points
- Finnair Plus – Convert 3,500 miles into 500 Accor points
- Flying Blue (Air France & KLM) – Convert 4,000 miles into 1,000 Accor points, plus you can earn 1 point per spent on Air France/KLM
- Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club – Convert 2500 miles into 500 Accor points
- ITA Airways Volare – Convert 4,000 Volare Points into 1,000 Accor Points
- Japan Airlines – Convert 10,000 JAL Miles into 4,000 Accor Points
- LATAM Pass – Convert 5,000 miles into 2,000 Accor points
- LATAM Pass Brazil – Convert 5,680 miles into 1,000 Accor points
- Qatar Airways Privilege Club – Convert 4,500 Avios into 1,000 Accor points
Earn With Car Rentals
You can credit your earnings from rentals with Avis, Hertz and Europcar to your Accor Live Limitless account. Two other partners allow you to convert rewards to Accor points: Eurostar and GrabRewards.
Earn With Travel Partners
These can change, and promotions come and go. Buying luggage, booking a travel package, or other spending can yield Accor points.
Host an Event
You can host an event at nearly 25 Accor brands and earn points in the process. See options here. You can host a business meeting, conference, wedding, etc. and earn 1 point for every spent.
Get a Portrait of Yourself in Paris
Go to Studio Harcourt in Paris and get a portrait done. You’ll earn 4,000 points for an Instant Portrait, 8,000 points from a Prestige Portrait, 20,000 points from a Corporate Portrait or 100,000 points for Fashion & Legend Day portraits.
Other Points Options
You can convert bank rewards from accounts based in the United Arab Emirates, and you can take quizzes online to earn points. There are also spas throughout France where you can earn Accor Live Limitless points on your spending.
Accor Program Rules
Points Expiration
Accor Limitless Live points will expire after 365 days of account inactivity – 1 year. Unfortunately, only earning points counts as qualifying activity, but luckily you can make a small purchase in the shopping portal ti earn a few points. Redemptions don’t count and won’t keep your points alive.
You Can’t Combine or Share Points
ALL doesn’t allow for points pooling or sharing between members.
Redeeming Accor Live Limitless points
Your Accor points can be redeemed for hotel stays, home stays, airline miles, experiences, gifts, restaurants and transportation. Let’s look at each of these and how much each redemption option will set you back.
Redeeming For Hotel Stays
There are no award charts, which means no ‘sweet spots’ or ‘best redemptions’. Instead, you redeem points at a flat rate, as if you’re using them for cash. They’re worth 2.1 cents (at the current Dollars to Euros exchange rate) each toward hotel stays.
There are positives and negatives to this. On the plus side, you don’t have to worry about whether you’re getting a good redemption, and all redemptions are equally rewarding. On the negative side, you can’t max out your points at all. However, the simplicity of this can work well for many people.
There is a minimum redemption of 2,000 points. This will take more than off your stay. You can redeem points online in your account, you can call customer service and tell them you want to redeem points, or – this is very convenient – you can tell the front desk you want to use points when settling your bill at check-out from a hotel.
Unfortunately, around 1,500 hotels don’t participate in redemptions. These Accor brands don’t participate in Accor Live Limitless points redemptions:
- Adagio
- Adagio Access
- Angsana
- Banyan Tree
- Cassia
- Fairmont
- Grand Mercure
- Greet
- Ibis
- Ibis Styles
- M Gallery
- Mama Shelter
- Mantis
- Mercure
- Novotel
- Pullman
- Raffles
- Rixos
- The Sebel
- Sofitel
- Swissotel
- Thalassa Sea & Spa
- Tribe
Remember, 2,000 points takes off your bill.
For this Sofitel property near the Eiffel Tower, you would need 16,000 points to remove from the bill. You would be left with to pay each night.
Redeeming for Luxury Home Stays
Accor now owns Onefinestay. Think of bougie Airbnb in only the best destinations.
Redemptions for Onefinestay gift cards average around 1.5 cents per point (depending on the Dollar-Euro exchange of the day). That’s obviously less value than the 2.2 cents you get with hotel redemptions.
Convert to Airline Miles
You can convert your Accor Live Limitless points to numerous airlines. Since hotel redemptions provide a value of 2.2 cents per point, make sure you get at least that much when using your points this way. Some of the redemption options are really bad, and I won’t bore you with all of the options here.
Some good options include Delta (4,000 to 2,000 transfer), Iberia (3,000 to 3,000), Qantas (2,000 to 2,000) and United (2,000 to 1,000).
Experiences and Gifts
Redeem your points for adventures and events like travel, tickets to concerts and sports matches, food experiences and more. You can also buy wine, luggage, home goods, make up and other items in the shopping section of your member profile.
Restaurant Bills
If you dine at a restaurant that participates in Accor restaurants, you can redeem 1,000 points for on your bill. Redeem at participating bars and restaurants – mostly located in Accor hotels, but you don’t have to be staying there to make these redemptions.
Transportation in Europe
You can redeem for the following partners:
- Die Bahn – Convert 2,000 Accor points into 1,000 Bahn Bonus Points
- Europcar – Convert 2,000 Accor points into 20 Euros
- Eurostar – Convert 4,000 Accor points into 350 Club Eurostar points
Charity Donations
You can donate points to Solidarity AccorHotels. Each 2,000 points you donate becomes . I don’t recommend doing this unless you have a few expiring points because you’re way better off making your own donation in cash to the charity of your choice and getting any potential tax benefit.
Earning Elite Status in Accor Live Limitless
Accor Live Limitless has five elite status tiers:
- Classic (entry level for all members)
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
You can earn status either from nights spent at hotels or through spending. The spending requirements are listed in euros, so make sure you’re aware of that. The spending numbers come from the fact that you earn two types of points during your stays: redeemable points that you can use for free nights and status points that you need for moving up to a higher tier.
The spending requirements below are from analyzing the status points earnings on stays at the bulk of Accor hotels – the hotels that give 25 points for every spent. Refer back to the points earning section above.
Accor Limitless Live Status Benefits
The complete list of status benefits are listed in detail here.

Gold
After spending or 30 nights, you can move up to Gold. This is a significant difference in requirements from Silver, and it comes with the following additional benefits:
- Guaranteed room when booking up to three days before check-in
- Early check-in
- Late check-out
- Space-available upgrade of one room category
- Turndown service
Platinum
Spend or 60 nights in a year to move up to this level – double the requirements of the Gold tier. You get the following additional perks:
- 2 Suite Night Upgrades (each valid for one night)
- Guaranteed room when booking two days before check-in

Diamond
There is no way to stay enough to reach this level. The only way to get here is to spend with Accor Live Limitless in a year. Members get the following added benefits:
- Complimentary breakfast on weekends
- Four Dining & Spa Rewards worth each
- Ability to gift Gold status to someone
Accor Plus
If you’re looking for a shortcut to status plus elite-style, the Accor Plus program offers a way to get there. It’s not free, though.
You can pay $225 per year for Traveller membership in Accor Plus or $295 per year for the Explorer tier. Benefits include Silver status in ALL, discounts on rooms and in-hotel dining, early access to promotions, and more.
The main difference in the tiers is the “Stay Plus complimentary night”. This annual free night award is valid at over 1,000 hotels worldwide and can easily be redeemed for more than $70 — the price difference between the two membership levels.
Accor Business Plus
For business travelers, the Accor Business Plus program is another paid option for extra perks. You can enjoy discounts at these hotels:
- Sofitel: 20% off all room rates (whether or not subject to restrictions)
- Pullman, MGallery, Grand Mercure, Novotel and Mercure: 20% off the best room rate without restrictions, and 5% of selected rates subject to restrictions
- Suite Novotel: 10% off full suite rates for short stays (1-2 nights), and 7% off stays of 3 nights or more, and for stays over 8 nights
- ibis: 10% off full room rates and restaurant services
- ibis Styles: 10% off room rates with breakfast or half-board packages, and 5% off selected rates subject to restrictions
- Adagio Aparthotels (excluding Adagio Access): 5% off unrestricted public rates for any stay over 4 nights minimum
- Thalassa sea & spa: Hotel brand discounts apply for all stays
However, there can be blackout dates on these offers. Additionally, you can get 20% off on rentals with Europcar in France.
What’s strange about the benefits on the Business Plus card is that one of the perks mentioned in the help page is guaranteed room availability. However, you can’t invoke this benefit when booking a discounted room using the discount your membership card offers.
Enrollment is .
Ibis Business
Another paid option for status is the Ibis Business card. It provides multiple benefits, including an easy path to Gold status. You can apply for the card here.
Other benefits including 10% off room rates (up to 2 rooms on the same reservation), 10% off at restaurants and bars, guaranteed room availability, early check-in or late check-out for free, plus annual offers from ALL.
There are two options when paying for your membership: you can pay for a one-year subscription or for two years.
Benefits with MyResorts
If you’re staying at a MyResorts property in Asia or Oceania, you can get varying benefits, depending on your Accor Live Limitless status tier. Benefits can include free drinks, free experiences for children, free lounge access, room upgrades, surprise gifts and even a dedicated host to serve as a single point of contact for anything you need during your stay.
Analysis of Benefits
Diamond status requires some serious spending. You would think it would include better benefits. It doesn’t include free breakfast on weekdays—no status tier includes that, in fact.
Compare this to programs like Hilton and Marriott that offer free breakfast at numerous properties to mid-tier members.
Flying Blue (Air France/KLM) partnership
Due to the special partnership between Flying Blue and Accor Live Limitless, you can earn Accor points and Flying Blue miles at the same time. When you stay at ALL-participating hotels, earn your normal hotel points and 1 Flying Blue mile per spent. When flying with Air France or KLM, earn your normal miles and XPs plus 1 Accor point for every spent.
On top of this, after you link your Flying Blue and ALL accounts, you can get the following after your first flight or first hotel stay:
- 2 status nights with ALL
- 10 XPs with Flying Blue
- Free 6-month membership to Youboox
Promotions
It’s worth noting that no other hotel chain has as many different types of promotions as Accor Live Limitless. These come in the form of discounts on cash bookings for members, bonus night credits, extra points earnings and numerous other types of promotions. Promotions with ALL are often geographically-restricted, so you may see “10% off Australia hotels” but no other regions are on sale that month. There are other promotions that are “only for residents who live in these countries__”, so keep an eye out for promotions that could fit with your upcoming travel plans.
ALL also has promotions that combine multiple elements, more so than other hotel brands.
This was an example promotion last year that offered a 15% discount on stays in South America if they paid with a Mastercard. Members get an additional 10% off, for a total of 25% off, which is pretty great, but it’s only valid in South America and only if you pay with a Mastercard credit card.
Bottom Line
Accor has a wide range of properties, and they’re located in many great locations. They don’t have a big presence in North America, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore the program. The points are some of the most valuable among hotel points (2.2 cents each), but they can be difficult to earn. That’s because there isn’t a credit card with a sign-up bonus available in the U.S., there is just one transfer partner (Capital One), and the ratio on that transfer isn’t great. Earning points also isn’t great on stays, because the rate at which even top-tier elites earn points is not great.
However, Accor has a very simple redemption strategy that doesn’t require lots of analysis or any effort to use well. Redemptions come at a flat rate, which makes using your points pretty simple. If you find yourself staying at Accor properties, make sure to sign up and earn your points.

V says
Gold benefit is either early check-in or late check out, not both. Complimentary soft drinks in minibar for Platinum and Diamond are only at McGallery hotels.
Accor ALL has also highest status, above Diamond and by invitation only, ” Limitless”
Beside ALL Plus, Plus Business and Ibis Business there is also ALL Signature program.
