American Airlines Simplymiles Bonus
I am so excited I got an email with a holiday promotion from the American Airlines SimplyMiles website that is amazing. Through the AAdvantage SimplyMiles site, you can earn an extra 5x (as in 500%) more American Airlines miles for every completed offer (max of 3 for the 5x holiday bonus).
If you’re unfamiliar with Simplymiles, it’s a card linked offer system similar to Amex Offers and Chase Offers, but it’s only available to holders of American Airlines AAdvantage credit cards. Note that you do not need to use your American credit card in order to earn the bonus miles- you only have to use a Mastercard that you’ve linked to your account. (See this post for more on how that works.) Simply add an offer to your card when you find one you like, and if you complete the purchase requirements before the expiration date 12/31/21, you’ll receive the additional American miles.

Log in to SimplyMiles™ today to explore your personalized SimplyMiles™ offers. Select your offers by Adding to Card and use your enrolled Mastercard® card for those purchases.
*As a special holiday bonus, through December 27 or while supplies last, earn an additional 5X American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles on every offer site-wide. For example, if you earn 100 miles on a purchase of $30 or more, then you will actually earn 100 miles + 500 bonus miles for a total of 600 miles.
Hurry, this 5X SimplyMiles™ Holiday Bonus is for a limited time and subject to availability of bonus miles.”
How to Earn AA Miles with This Offer
With this promotion you’ll earn AAdvantage miles as follows for up to 3 completed deals:
- Base miles on spend with credit card (usually 1 mile per $1)
- Stated bonus amount from the SimplyMiles offer
- Additional 500% bonus from the holiday promo
- Total 6x bonus
For example, I’m targeted for an offer of 40 miles per $1 donated to Conservation International, so If I use my registered Mastercard to pay, I’ll earn a total of 241 miles per dollar spent, which would be an unreal return of about 360% back in AAdvantage miles on the donation. Or how about this one- “Earn 4600 miles on a purchase of $60 or more” at AT&T- so yea that means you’ll earn over 27000 miles for spending $60- not to mention you can stack all f these offers with shopping portals. I’m definitely targeting the offers with the higher bonuses.
Another option is the 3x miles on AAdvantage Vacation Packages since some of those offer bonuses of 25000 miles and the Simplymiles offer would yield 18 American Airlines miles per dollar plus whatever your bonus from the vacation offer. Another interesting option are the IHG hotel offers- for example I have offers for 2150 extra miles at Kimpton and Intercontinental- so you’d earn 12,900 miles and all those bonus IHG points if you pay with your Chase IHG credit card. Just make sure it’s linked to your account.

Max Out the AA Bonus Miles Offer Quickly
This opens up some truly incredible earning opportunities, and I’m seeing some pretty popular stores in my account. It’s funny today I thought I was a ninja by completing two offers to earn 2400 AA miles, but now I’m praying these don’t count towards my allotment of 3 total offers. Last time this was offered in 2019 the holiday bonus was targeted (the individual offers are targeted as well) and it ended way before it was supposed to. This time they capped it at 3 offers and stated the offer is subject to availability. It’s definitely worth logging into your SimplyMiles account (or signing up) to see which of your offers can be especially lucrative.
Bottom Line: If I were you I’d hurry because this 5X SimplyMiles Holiday Bonus is for a limited time and subject to availability of bonus miles and the last time they did this bonus it ended very early. So if you want to maximize the offer you should pick the 3 offers you’re interested in with the largest bonus.
I haven’t been targetted for offers anywhere near as good as what you’ve posted 🙁
Have you completed any offers in the past? That might help, also look at the ones that stack with other offers like Winc or Vinesse- you can get those and swagbucks for negative cost. I’ll look for some others.
I know these wine companies can be very particular about how they give out these points. This is what the Vinesse one says: Earn 2,500 miles with your American Cellars Wine Club membership on a purchase of $41 or more. Is it necessary to buy the membership or can you just buy wine? Thanks.
